We are Dan and Steve, and between us we have 15 years’ experience in carpentry and joinery.
Steve learned the tools of the trade working for a local cabinet-maker. In a similar vein, Dan’s career also began in commercial joinery, where he worked for a company that produced summer houses and timber frames, as well as windows and doors. We have worked together in other joinery businesses for seven years, but decided to form our own company in 2018.
We both have a fine eye for detail, a flair for creativity and enjoy working with our hands
Initially, when the partnership was born, our focus was on the restoration of grade I and II listed buildings. Our work has since expanded to include modern builds, and we have been involved in projects that have won the British Construction Industry awards in the Commercial Joinery category.
We both have a fine eye for detail, a flair for creativity and enjoy working with our hands to create products in line with customers’ specifications. We are fully qualified and hold the City and Guilds qualification in Carpentry and Joinery.
Working off plans is second nature to us, and we are used to collaborating with engineers and architects, meaning that we can advise you on even the most complicated of projects from the outset.
We are comfortable working with different types of wood, from softwood, such as pine and cedar, to hardwood, including oak and walnut, to create finished items that suit a variety of tastes and styles. What’s more, our materials are sourced from local suppliers whose products are sustainable and eco-friendly.
